“Ode to Peace” - Art Innovation and Practical Teaching Seminar was held in Sichuan Hall of the Beijing Great Hall of the People on September 29. XIAN Liting – the national educational inspector and the touring commissioner of the Ministry of Education, SUN Ruofeng – the director of the Culture and Science Division of Ministry of Culture, WANG Heshan – the secretary-general of SinoFriends International Art Exchange Institute, SUN Hualin – the deputy director of the Department of Education of Liaoning Province, LI Jiahua – the famous educational expert, the deputy dean of China Youth College for Political Sciences and the leader of the expert group of entrepreneurial education project of the Ministry of Education, TENG Zhenfu – the deputy director of Dalian Propaganda Department and the Chairman of the Literary Federation, HUANG Wenpu – the director of Propaganda Department of new district of Jinzhou, and the leaders of colleges and universities of China in Beijing and media friends participated in the seminar.

       The seminar was hosted by WANG Jin - the executive director of our college. JIANG Maofa - the head of college gave a welcoming speech. RUAN Zhenming – the professor of our college described the writing procedure of “Ode to Peace” and the characteristics of the contents. WANG Xianzhang – the deputy director of our college introduced our new talent cultivation mode based on the platform of play creation and performance to each guest.
       The guests expressed their praise for the teaching measures of our college at the seminar. WANG Heshan – the secretary-general of SinoFriends International Art Exchange Institute said that Dalian Art College as a higher educational art institute provided many good works for society. Whatever is “Johann Adam Schall von Bell”, “Ode to Peace” or “Soul of Cherry”, they made a great contribution to the people-to-people cultural exchange. SUN Hualin – the deputy director of the Department of Education of Liaoning Province introduced “Ode to Peace” to guests and he said that “Ode to Peace” was made by the whole members of our college and it expressed the historical missions and responsibilities of “remembering history, cherishing martyrs, loving peace and creating the future” and it represents the talent level nourished by Dalian Art College. TENG Zhenfu – the deputy director of Dalian Propaganda Department and the Chairman of the Literary Federation said the large audio-visual dancing epic “Ode to Peace” was the great event conforming to the spirit of this time that Dalian Art College has done and was the good thing for the art innovative practical teaching and can be recorded in the history.
In the end, WANG Xianjun – the chairman of Dalian Art College made a summary report and he said that we, as the higher educational art institute, deepen our understanding of practical teaching and will continuously explore the way of practical teaching. And in the field of acting teaching, we not only pay attention to “class teaching” but also “practical stage teaching”. We try to interlink “class” with “stage” and “theory” with “practice”.
 At the end of seminar, we accompanied guests to visit our practical teaching achievement show and watch the large audio-visual dance epic “Ode to Peace”.
