The freshmen in 2014 from various places registered in the college on August 26. To serve these students well, the college provided one-stop service in registration point, and carefully arranged everything for them from a bottle of water, a sunshade and a form.
The college distributed the college introductions, campus view, and traffic line around registration point and travel guidance of Jinzhou New District through publicity board, special of school newspaper and material list, facilitating the students knowing the information. In addition, a large batch of students joining in the official WeChat platform during examination and inquiring grades. The college had sent the registration guidance to their phones. The students may make preparations in information and mentality from accompanying articles¡¯ tips, traffic line, registration process, campus navigation and how to adjust state.
¡°Little red hat¡± volunteers would provide one-to-one solutions as for any questions about registration process and campus life. The campus workers wore work plate and the first person receipting the student shall be responsible for all questions from beginning to end. The college advocates students to cultivate self-care and self-supporting capacity when entering the school. A notice board ¡°The students line up independently. The parents may wait for a while. Thanks for your cooperation¡± was set up in the registration entrance. Although the condition that the students enter into school accompanied by the parents, they handle admission procedures interpedently. Mr. Wang (parent of student from Faculty of Film and Television) said: they drive here from Fushun because their child shall take so many things. The orchestra, symphony orchestra and chorus jointly held ¡°night of Dalian Art College - welcome party for the freshmen in 2014¡± in the evening of 27th day. They performed 10 repertoires in total inclusive of Horse Racing, Blooming Flowers and Full Moon, Pirates of the Caribbean and William Tell, and the climax burst out on scene one after another. All freshmen turned on the flashlights of mobile phone when performing the school song Symphony of Dalian Art College, twinkling just like star.
