Liu Peibo is a professor and the Dean of School of Art & Design. He is teaching the basic courses and courses in Oil Painting. He was the Director of the teaching and research section and the Deputy Director of the department. He graduated from the Department of Fine Arts of the Northeast Normal University and was engaged in pattern design after graduation. He was transferred to the local cultural museum in 1985 and was involved with all cultural activities. He was the Deputy Director of the cultural center and the Vice Chairman of the Xingan League Artists’ Association. His oil paintings have participated in provincial and national exhibitions since 1980. His oil painting won the Excellence Award in the “national stars art exhibition” in 1993; the oil painting Come in Huizhou was chosen for the first sketching exhibition in Dalian in 2004; the oil painting Impression of Lushun Railway Station was chosen for the 18th novice and new works exhibition in 2005; The oil painting Sunset in Huizhou won the Excellence Award in the large-scale art exhibition in commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Liaoning Artists’ Association; the oil painting Sophora Flower in May was chosen for the “national small-scale scenery and ethnic culture oil painting exhibition in 2006; the pink painting Wrestler was chosen for the 8th national watercolor and pink painting exhibition in 2007; the oil painting Hada Nala won the third prize in Inner Mongolia Small-Scale Oil Painting exhibition in 2008. His oil paintings have been printed in Fine Arts and Chinese Oil Painting and he has also published articles.
