On September 25, the 4th China Yangko Festival sponsored by the Chinese Dancers Association kicked off in Jiaozhou, the Yangko City of China. In this session, art groups from all over the country brought 12 different styles and distinctive songs and dances to the masses of yangko fans on the same stage. They showed the local customs and practices of different regions vividly. The dance team of our college performed with those from the Central University for Nationalities School of Dance, Shandong University of Arts on the same stage. The"Ringing Everywhere"prepared by our college presented audiences a wonderful audio-visual feast.

While the China Yangko Festival was in full swing, the Yangko Art Symposium in China was held concurrently. Director Dong Xuan of the Department of Dance Teaching and Research Office, the old artist and professor Li Ruilin, professor Zhan Supong participated in the Symposium and expressed their views at the meeting.

Despite of the intense arrangement of performances, seminars and exchange activities in two days,  teachers and students were still full of energy, and won praise from the China Dancers Association and local citizens. The charm of dances presented by Dalian Art College shined on the land of Jiaozhou.
