The evaluation standard mainly classifies the evaluation indexes, such as talent cultivation, discipline construction, faculty, academic strength, scientific research strength and teaching facilities. Amidst top-600 of Chinese universities in China, Peking University, Tsinghua University, Beijing Normal University, Chinese Academy of Medical Sciences, Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, China Agricultural University, Minzu University of China and Central Conservatory of Music respectively take the lead in their category. 

  Dalian Art College was established in 2000 and was moved to the new campus, which collects 1 billion investing and covering an area of 603,800m2 in August 2013. The school is the only comprehensive art school in Liaoning Province, establishing 7 secondary schools (School of Music, School of Communication & Media, School of Film & Television, School of Fine Arts, School of Art & Design, School of Fashion, and School of Management) and 1 basic teaching department. The college sets up 26 undergraduate majors, 28 specialties and 22 major fields, and owns over 10,000 internal students.

The original dance Fun in the Sea wins the second prize of performance and the third prize of drama in the 9th “Tao Li Cup” dance competition. The original works The Puppetmaster wins the second prize of performance and the third prize of original drama in the 10th “Tao Li Cup” dance competition, and wins the gold award in “Lotus Cup” dance competition in Liaoning Province. The boy’s chorus wins the silver award in the 8th China Music Golden Bell Award Chorus Competition, “Golden Jasmine” (golden awards) respectively in the 3rd and 4th Mainland and Taiwan Chorus Festival held in Fuzhou and Taiwan Xinzhu, and wins 13th prize in 14th CCTV Yong Singer Competition. Folk indoor orchestra wins 4 golden awards in group and individuals in International Folk Music Festival held in The Republic of Belarus. The original body drama Women Generals of the Yang Family wins outstanding organization award, outstanding drama award and outstanding director award in the 3rd China Campus Drama Festival. The original oratorio Johann Adam concert debuts in Grand National Theatre, winning high and good praise and highest honor in the 5th “new player and new repertoire” in Dalian – outstanding drama award.
