Guo Dongbin is a Professor and a member of the Communist Party of China. He has been successively awarded a number of honorary titles such as the Shenyang Military Region’s “Outstanding Teacher”, the Dalian Intercollegiate Collaboration Zone’s “Outstanding Teacher”, the “imparting knowledge and educating people” advanced individual, one of the “10 Best Gardeners” of the Dalian Institute of the Army, etc; and the Merit Citation Class III on two occasions. He is the chief editor of 8 books and textbooks such as the Fundamentals of Electronic Technology (2M characters), etc. He selected Pulse and Digital Circuitry published by Shandong University and the Or-Memory Theory by Science Press; the “Analog Circuitry Multimedia Courseware” he selected was awarded the CAI first prize for national colleges; the 4 textbooks such as Negative Feedback Amplifier he selected have been listed as the PLA’s general textbooks; the “Controllable Silicon Medium Frequency Power Supply” by his research team was awarded the prize for military technological advancement. He has written over 40 academic papers, of which more than 20 have been published in national and PLA publications. High-tech Wars in the Future and Electronic Countermeasure Capability Training for Junior Commanders have been included in the China Contemporary National Defense Articles, and his biography has been included in the 21st Century Editions of Who’s Who in the World, Who’s Who in Chinese Experts and Collected Classics of the PLA’s Famous Teachers.
