Li Zhekun is an associate professor in the Department of Fine Arts and the Director of Liaoning Youth Artists Association. He was born in Tongliao City, Inner Mongolia in 1972 and graduated from Minzu University of China, faculty of Fine Art with a Major of Oil Painting. He graduated from the oil painting class of the Graduate School of the Chinese National Academy of Art in 2008. He held a personal art exhibition in Beijing in 1999. He participated in the third oil painting exhibition in Liaoning Province in 2002 and the small-scale oil painting boutique exhibition in 2003. He was invited to America, Italy and France for an art communication exchange exhibition in 2005. He participated in the 30th anniversary exhibition and the 30th anniversary exhibition boutique exhibition of the Graduate School of the Chinese National Academy of Arts in 2009. He participated in China – Korea contemporary art communication exchange exhibition held in Beijing Sunshine International Museum Gallery in 2009 and the China contemporary art exhibition in 2010. In addition, he participated in the “Minyue painting exhibition-Our land, Our people” serial oil painting invitation exhibition, “counterpoint – Dalian” contemporary oil painting exhibition, and the “four-people exhibition of four seasons and cities of art” in 2011. He participated in “visible poem” the second Chinese oil painting exhibition held in the National Art Museum of China, winning the Excellent Award. The work is the collection of The Imperial College Oil Painting Gallery. He also participated in the exhibition of new Chinese masters in oil paintings held in the Zhongshan Gallery in Dailian and the first annual national young and middle-aged oil painting exhibition.
