On April 27, the awarding ceremony of the college being awarded as “Liaoning College Students Innovative Undertaking Incubation Demonstration Base” was held in the new campus of the college, and lecture and seminar of “Liaoning Innovative Undertaking Guidance Expert Campus Visiting” also followed.
On the ceremony, Wang Jing, executive vice-president of the college, was employed as the “Liaoning Innovative Undertaking Guidance Expert”, and the college appointed 14 Liaoning innovative undertaking guidance experts as the “innovative undertaking mentor of Dalian Art College” and awarded them letters of appointment. Experts of innovative undertaking team conducted the analysis on the hot issues of college students’ innovative undertaking in the lecture, and brought the innovative undertaking policy, innovative undertaking guidance, innovative undertaking model and innovative undertaking services into the campus of the college.
Liu Zhu, the director general of Liaoning College Student Employment Agency and educational inspector of the People’s Government of Liaoning Province, pointed out that youth is the hope of the country and nation, innovation is the soul of social progress, and entrepreneurship is an important way of promoting economic and social development, and improving people’s livelihood. Young students are full of rich imagination and creativity, and are the effective strength of innovation and entrepreneurship. He hoped that the broad masses of young students would combine their life pursuit with national development and progress as well as people’s great practice, study hard, work in a down-to-earth way, forge ahead with determination, and show their talents and serve the society in the innovation and entrepreneurship. Our efforts are to not only develop a few “small bosses” and managers, but also cultivate a kind of spirit – entrepreneurship. Not everyone is suitable for innovative undertaking, but everyone needs the entrepreneurship.

On the second day of the activity, the experts also went deep into the creative park of Dalian Art College for field visit, and put forward guidance.

At the end of last year, the provincial education department announced the second list of “Liaoning College Students Innovation Undertaking Incubation Demonstration Base”, and the college became one of the approved two universities in the province.
