The meeting honorins the advanced organizations, labor models and persons with special labor awards in 2012 and 2013 was held in municipal People Culture Club in the morning on April 30 in order to commemorate “May 1” International Workers' Day. The labor models and advanced workers from all walks of life were awarded by the municipal party committee and municipal government. The Executive Vice-President Wang Jing was awarded the title of “Dalian Labor Model”.

  In the meeting, Tang Jun, the municipal party secretary expressed the greetings to all workers, farmers, intellectuals and laborers on behalf of the municipal party committee and municipal government, and put forward three wishes for the vast workers: firstly, may the vast workers take the lead to fulfill socialism core value; secondly, may the vast workers act as pioneer when accelerating construction of “two advanced areas”; thirdly, may the vast workers play the role of main force when deepening reform comprehensively. 

  She also stressed that the party committee and government at all levels shall put the union in an important position, timely study and solve the important problems and actual difficulties of the union, endow more resources and means to the union and drive the union to step on a new stage.

  Wang Jing acts as an associate professor, member of Communist Party of China and member of China Democratic National Construction Association. She graduated from The Open University of Hong Kong in December 2000 and obtained MBA. She has experienced the difficulties and success in entrepreneurship and management. She planned and established the largest indoor photostudio in China – Dalian Yuandong Studio City. She has accumulated rich management experience from nearly 10 years of operation management. She and her father Wang Xianjun jointly established Dalian Art College with an aim of cultivating practical and skill-oriented music and art talents in January 2000. Since founding the college, she has been taking the posts of director of Office of Infrastructure, Director of Office of Academic Affairs, vice-president and executive vice-president. She has been always pursing higher standards with the patience and perseverance exceeding ordinary people. She is responsible for the construction of new campus and takes 3 years to build a new campus covering an area of 364,000 m2 with architectural style of Art College and high-level building quality integrating modernization, intelligence and landscape. The new campus not only boasts complete teaching and logistics support facilities (comprehensive multi-media classroom, advanced computer classroom, high-standard piano room, studio, rehearsal and performance hall), but also have high-quality teaching staff consisting national famous experts, professors and excellent youth and middle-aged teachers. The key point of success lies in the unremitting pursuit. She loves the cause of non-government funded education and makes great contributions to the spanning development of Dalian Art College. She was rated as the party representative of congress of Party representatives in Dalian City in 2012 and Dalian Labor Model in 2014.
