On March 13, the College held the first session of fourth staff (union member) congress, the College leaders, all staff and student representatives participated in the congress. President Wang Xianjun attended it and made an important speech, and Dean Yu Jiayou gave a report about College work, Secretary Yu Aihua made a speech centering on meeting spirit and work of Party Committee.
 

Assistant Dean Wang Xianzhang read out Notice of Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology on Selection Result of 2015 Master Degree Candidate Faculty Adviser and issued the letter of appointment. The congress appraised 9 advanced collectives and 22 advanced individuals in 2014, summed up results and experience of various work gained by the College in 2014, analyzed current opportunities and challenges faced by the College and made work tasks of scientific research, teaching, talent cultivation, practice shows and other aspects clear. The union representative of the College conducted work analysis based on basis of the president’s spirit of the speech. The meeting carried out deliberation on Report on College Work, Union Work Report and other meeting documents and put forward opinions and suggestions centering on College construction, Teachers’ Representative Committee Construction, Union Construction and other issues. At last, Assistant Dean Liu Yongfu summarized report study and discussion situation. The first session of fourth staff (union member) congress successfully came to a close under the positive and progressive atmosphere which made kicked off for work of the College in 2015.
