Dalian University of Technology observed the opening of The First Undergraduate Innovation and Entrepreneurship Annual Meeting in Liaoning Province on June 28 and 29.
There were 5 projects selected in the annual meeting, including the exhibition projects: Explorer Free Self-driving Tourism Service Co., Ltd; Creation of Folk Cartoon in Dalian; Yichuang Campus Souvenir Design Studio; Development and Utilization Research on Birch Bark Technology in Northern Minorities; and the projects of ”°entrepreneurship through train”± Practical Training of ”°Zero Cost”± Entrepreneurship in Sculpture Major. The innovation and entrepreneurship plan Explorer Free Self-driving Tourism Service Co., Ltd in the charge of Tian Xue in Tourism Management Major in School of Management, and under the guidance of Teacher Fu Bing was rated as ”°my favorite exhibition project”±.
The undergraduate innovation and entrepreneurship training plan (hereinafter referred to as ”°plan”±) is one of the important projects promoting undergraduate teaching quality in ”°12th five-year plan”± period, and the important measure to promote higher education colleges transforming educational thought, drive reform of talent cultivation model, strengthen innovation and entrepreneurship ability training and improve the innovation ability and entrepreneurship ability on innovation basis of the undergraduates. As the unique art college participating in the plan of Liaoning Province, our college began starting the work in 2013, boasting 4 national-level projects, 20 provincial-level projects and over 90 school-level projects. Our college recommended 20 projects from the approved projects to declare provincial plan in this May and the projects are in approval. In the past two years, there are over 500 students participating in the plan. Through the practice platform, motivate the innovation thinking and entrepreneurship passion and cultivate and improve the entrepreneurship ability of the students.
