On Oct. 9, Liaoning 6th University Drama Festival Dalian Art College Competition Area was held in Jingyi Theater of the Films and Television Institute. This Liaoning University Drama Festival had been held by Liaoning Literature and Art Association, Liaoning Education Department, the Communist Youth League Liaoning Committee, Liaoning Department of Culture and attended by 26 colleges and universities from the whole province.
There were 4 works of the college that had entered the exhibition phase of the University Drama Festival. They respectively were drama fragment Deling and Empress Dowager Cixi, sketch The Road of Pursuing Dream, Choice and Officer, three of which were originally created. Such an important competition had attracted lots of experts and scholars to come: Sun Hao, the former vice inspector of Liaoning Department of Culture, researcher and playwright; Han Ning, the vice chairman of Liaoning Dramatist Association and secretary general, had arrived at the site and evaluated, together with dozens of experts.
Sun Hao (the former vice inspector of Liaoning Department of Culture, researcher and playwright): The teaching and talent cultivation of Dalian Art College is very effective. The bold play choosing has challenged the students, while the presented sketches are simple but full of vigor. The original sketch theme, the traceable expression meaning, and the distinguishing subject are all of ingenuity.
Liu Meihua (the National Class-A actor, China Plum Blossom Prize): Dalian Art College has an affinity sense, not only in the genial environment but also the amiable cultural sense of the whole college. At the very beginning of the original sketch Road of Pursuing Dream, the director had done quite well in the handling with clean and clear. In the whole play, the professional study and the actual life of the students have completely and organically integrated together. In a word, it's very great.
