On February 2, under the leadership of Executive Director Wang Jing of Dalian Art College, the Taiwan cultural and creative delegation visited Taiwan Tungfang Design University on their way from Taipei to Tainan, accompanied by Mr. Yang Xiahui, Chairman of Taiwan's Image Strategy Alliance and Ms. Lin Cailin, the Managing Director.
Taiwan Tungfang Design University, with "art, feature, benefit, memory, and creativity" as the development goal, has followed a collaborative model of industry and education with the "workshop-style teaching" so as to shape its students’ fighting power in employment and innovation, and make outstanding educational achievements. Executive Director Wang Jing said after the visit and exchange: Based on the similar cultural DNA and career pursuit, the two universities hope to take the integration of industry and education as a model to build an ecological environment of innovation and entrepreneurship education so that students can become creative and innovative applied talents in cultural and creative industries.
After the visit, Executive Director Wang Jing and President Wu Shuming of Tungfang Design University signed the Letter of Intent on Friendly Cooperation between the Two Universities. In the future, the two sides will boldly explore and practice educational resource sharing, interactive teaching and learning, students' study abroad, cultural and creative business operations, and make substantial achievements in promoting the synergetic development and talent cultivation in the field of arts and culture across the Taiwan Strait.
