2015 Asia Pacific Accordion Festival was held in Jeju Island of Korea in August. This activity was organized by the joint effort of Asia Pacific Accordion Committee and China Accordion Association. Many judges from China, Korea, Italia, German, France, America, Australia and Russia are invited to this fesitval. There were about 30 representative teams participating in this art festival and about 1000 instrumental performers participated in the music instrument performance competition.

　　With the support and assistance of leaders and teachers, the students and teachers of Accordion Office of Music School of Dalian Art College have prepared for this art festival since the beginning of this semester. The students and teachers gave up their summer holiday and played accordion over and over again in the hot weather. Their behaviors are the reflection of tenacious and fighting spirit.

  With the accompaniment of Russian custom-made MIDI, our special exquisite accordion performance conquered all the on-site judges and audience. We won the Gold Award for Musical Instrument Performance. Our 2012 student MA Yunfei won the Gold Award for Adult Performer. He practiced accordion for about more than 8 hours every day. With the help of scientific training method, strict guidance from teachers and his hard work and love and passion for music, he finally succeeded. The judges granted WEN Quan, the director of our accordion office, the Award for Excellent Teacher, and our college the Award for Excellent Organization.
