On May 12, the old campus was lively as students returned after the May 1st Festival. The Enrollment and Employment Office held the "Dalian Art College 2016 Graduate Spring Mutual Selection¡± for students who are going to leave and find jobs. There were more than 200 employers participating in this double election, providing more than 1,900 jobs and internships. More than 3,000 graduates participated in negotiations with employers, of which, 1,161 intentions were reached, and more than 400 students planned to sign an agreement. This activity set a record in its kind in the college in respect of scale and effectiveness.

Employers from Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Shenzhen, Tianjin, Shenyang, Dalian and other first and second tier cities offered jobs for students majoring in radio and television directing, broadcasting and hosting art, costume design, film and television shows, marketing, art design, vocal performance, musical instruments, hotel management, tourism management and many other professional fields, showing strong professional pertinence.

It is understood that most employers paid attention to "multiple skills in a major", that is, while focusing on the professional qualities of students, they would examine the overall quality of students' language skills, adaptability, interpersonal communication and coordination. To recruit talents, many companies provided the generous treatment, such as a business offered a monthly salary of RMB 4,000 yuan during internship. The primary concern for students was payroll, followed by space for promotion, and accommodation was also considered as a factor for graduates going to first-tier cities.

Students moved amongst various recruitment booths with their CVs, confidently answering questions raised by employers, and completing exam questions prepared by some of the units on the spot. They generally believed that the hiring scene was so large that they were able to find a good job without going out of the school. It was very convenient and helpful, and also eliminated the tension and anxiety that they had little job hunting experience. Some students also said that the try alerted them  pressure but also brought in opportunities.

The employers¡¯ representative pointed out that the students' professional knowledge in our college was relatively practical, with strong professional skills and unique innovative ability. Wang Xianjun, chairman of the college, came to the site of the mutual selection and met face-to-face with representatives of the recruitment agencies. While introducing the concept of talent cultivation and the characteristics of talents, we learned about the demand for personnel for employment.
