On March 30, a "creative" awarding ceremony was held in the No. 1 Studio of the Dalian Art College. The whole campaign highlighted the concept of innovation and the element of entrepreneurship. Leaders of the Entrepreneurship Promotion Office, Bureau of Culture and Broadcasting, the Economic Development Bureau of Jinpu New District, the Taxation Bureau, the Bureau of Human Resources and Social Security, the Publicity Department, the Bureau of Commerce, the Youth League Committee and the Sub-district of Maqiaozi as well as school leaders and teachers and students from the entrepreneurship team participated in the activity.
Accompanied by the modernorchestra performance prepared by enterprises in the Park, winners of theannual "Outstanding Manager", "Venture Star Award" and "Newcomer Award"were announced one by one. The awards were granted to the legal representative of enterprises in the Dalian Art Park of Culture and Creativity, whose were newly graduated students as well as the professional teachers in the startup stage. The party was also planned by the Park and those entrepreneurs.
The Park of Culture and Creation has achieved good results in a few years. At present, 80 enterprises settled down here. Among them, there were 32 teachers' studios, 38 college students' entrepreneurial teams and 10 foreign enterprises. All the teachers and the student teams have obtained the business license. Thanks to their continuous increase in business ability,in 2016, the total sales of the park were tens of millions of yuan, and the annual sales of three companies operated by college students exceeded million yuan.
The college is an art university with a strong innovation and entrepreneurial vitality, and the leadership of the college is passionate about entrepreneurship. Wang Xianjun, the founder of the college, pointed out that Dalian Art Park of Culture and Creativity has successfully hatched a number of high-quality college start-ups in just three years after its founding, which shows that the talents of Dalian Art College have excellent ability of innovation and entrepreneurship. At the same time, ChairmanWang Xianjunalso looked back on the founding process of the college to remind students to keep their original intention, to continue in the practice of entrepreneurship and growth skills. The College will, as always, provide protection for start-up students to help them achieve their business dreams.
In 2016, Dalian Art Park of Culture and Creativity was recognized by the Ministry of Science and Technology as "State-level Public Creation Space" and was named "Liaoning Provincial Entrepreneurship Education Practice Base for College Students" by the Liaoning Provincial Department of Students Employment. It was recognized by Dalian Science and Technology Bureau as "Dalian Municipal Science and Technology Business Incubator, and a "A-level Incubator in Dalian City" by Dalian Municipal Bureau of Social Sciences with funds ofRMB 1 million.
