On the eve of the 32^nd Teacher's Day, in recognition of the advanced models who have made outstanding contributions to the development of the industry, China Textile and Apparel Education Society launched the selection of advanced units and advanced collectives of national textile and garment education in March 2016. Recently it is learned that our college won the title of National advanced unit of Textile and Garment Education.

According to China Textile Daily, 51 commendations were given to the advanced units in textile and apparel education throughout the country. The units to be commended are longstanding outstanding representatives of enterprises and government departments concerned with and supporting the construction of industries and various specialized textile and apparel institutes. These advanced units and advanced collectives have conscientiously implemented the party's line, principles, and policies following the guidance of a competent leadership, members in which are well united and behaved; the team, of good quality and harmonious relations, conscientiously fulfills its social responsibilities; and has made outstanding contributions in their respective fields. Among these units, there are not only educational institutions that adhere to the quality of education but also set up industry-specific educational institutions, excellent enterprises that care about education and promote the cooperation between schools and enterprises, and government departments that actively set up a production, education and research platform and achieved good results.
