On July, 3 and July,4, the Voluntary Blood Donation activity of our College students was held at the gymnasium. The staffs from Dalian Red Cross conducted blood collection towards 284 students who had passed the blood test. Since considerable preparations had been made, the activity was in an orderly way in terms of all aspects. Ten student volunteers were working at the site all the time, assisting the doctor to publicize related knowledge, and distributed brown sugar water and biscuits to students who had donated blood. The staffs of Dalian Red Cross gave a high appraisal to the whole procedures of this activity. Our College students showed very high enthusiasm in this Voluntary Blood Donation activity, but due to limited quota, time conflict between the activity and examination, and other reasons, many students who did not finish off their actions felt a sort of pity, and expressed that they will be certain to join in the large team of Voluntary Blood Donation when they get an opportunity
