Ms. Takahashi Visited the College with A Japanese Delegation November 13, 2016

On November 12, Ms. Takahashi of Soka Gakkai came to our school for a goodwill visit with students from other four Japanese universities. Chairman Wang Xianjunand his wife received friends at the International Cooperation and Exchange Center of our college. The friendly atmosphere of this process infected everyone. Every glance showed sincere, and every blessings were beautiful. Although it was not the season in which cherry blooms, the sentiments of cherry blossoms flowed in everyone's heart.

At 1:00 pm, a warm welcome ceremony was held in Sakura Garden. Students at Ikeda Reading Association sang "Cherry Blossoms" in Japanese. Guests visited the Stone ¡°Jun¡±, History Museum, Ikeda Daisaku Exhibition Hall and so on. At the International Cooperation and Exchange Center, Chairman Wang Xianjun met with Ms. Takahashi and her delegation, accompanied by his wife, Vice President Liang Yun and Music Director Mr. Gao Dalin. In the documentary of "Karma of Cherry Blossoms", everyone reviewed together the Chairman Wang Xianjun's fate of going to Japan to establish a relationship with Soka University and Soka Gakkai, devotion to making the oratorio "Soul of Sakura", foundation of Ikeda Daisaku Exhibition Hall.

At the exchange meeting, the chairman expressed a warm welcome to foreign friends and students at various colleges and universities and his fervent desire to promote exchanges between folk culture and art. Ms. Takahashi pointed out that it was touching to see that Chairman Wang Xianjun's practice of promoting friendly exchanges and the warm welcome they received from Dalian Art College. This time, students from Nankai University and other four colleges and universities came together in Dalian Art College. It was of special significance.Seeing what Chairman Wang Xianjun and Dalian Art College have done for friendly exchanges, all students were very touched and moved. I hoped the Collegea better tomorrow.

ChairmanWang Xianjun gave Ms. Takahashi the phoenix doll and the book A Sketch of Japan. In return, Ms. Takahashi delivered some exquisite memorial cards, cherry decorations, and key rings, all made by friends from Soka personally. The friendship between students of our colleges and the other four were also enhanced thanks to the exchange activity.
